Schwartau Mohn-Back, a ready-to-bake poppy seeds preparation, is a real time saver when preparing a continental poppy seeds cake. No need to ground and soak the poppy seeds. Just add to your filling, bake and enjoy!

Ingredients

Poppy seed filling for baking. Poppy seeds, sugar, water, modified starch, gelling agent pectine, arome (lactose), preservative E202, acidulant citric acid.

Storage

Store in a cool and dry place.

Seriously tasty pastries can be made with a pack of Mohn Back and a bread maker. Make the dough, roll out, spread with Mohn Back and sprinkle with a handful of sultanas, roll up, bake, cut into slices and there you have it! Couldn't be easier. I also have a secret family recipe for something so delicious it beggars belief! Everyone comes back for more. Beware, though. Some recipes require sugar to be added to the poppy seed paste. Mohn Back comes already sweetened so don't add more.
